Qi Gong Massage
Qi Gong massage or acupuncture without needles is a form of therapeutic massage utilising acupressure and energy work within the framework of remedial massage. Not only do the muscles receive a workout, but the body’s energy is activated to move through areas of stagnation or weakness. This brings about a state of harmony that allows the body to heal itself.

Diagnosis is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and the acupuncture points and meridians are activated with massage, acupressure and energy work (Qi Gong) to treat the signs and symptoms presented.
Traditional Chinese medical theory encourages disease prevention by treating the condition at its earliest stage, usually at the muscle level when it is easy to treat. The muscles are seen as the body’s first line of defence against disease. So any aches and pain and muscle spasms are seen as important signs and symptoms of various disease states. Qi gong massage can thereby help in disease prevention and health promotion.
