I've been living in the Blue Mountains for 3 years now.
What I'm...

'The Boy who couldn't stop washing' by Judith L Rapoport, and 'The Reptile Room' by Lemony Snicket.
Watching
I watch very little TV, but really enjoy old British comedies.
My work: Direction with Clarity
I am a psychotherapist, counsellor and herbalist; and I practise in my home clinic at Katoomba.
I offer a low cost counselling and psychotherapy service which has been very popular with both local residents and people travelling up from the Western suburbs.
Through my herbal practice, I help people with their long term health issues and have had a lot of success with allergies and food intolerances.
Why did you choose...?
Helping people with their physical, emotional and psychological health has long been a passion of mine.
I first started telephone counselling in the UK in the 1970s, which was the beginning of 30 years of training, education and my work in the helping / healing industries.
How long?
30 years and counting.
What makes you different?
My approach does not fit within a single paradigm, but instead I have a truely wholistic approach to healing due to my eclectic range of training.
My passions and interests
Most memorable thing in the last 12 months?
When my daughter asked her partner to marry her... and he said "yes". Wedding early 2008!
Also, at the beginning of this year, I severely injured my back... which has been very annoying.
Passion
Helping people to achieve their full potential.
My family and friends are also very important to me.
Relaxing
Reading; almost anything!
I enjoy being involved in creative projects with my partner, especially theatre production. Of course, I love going to the theatre and watching dance and other performances.

I am the lion and his lair!
I am the fear that frightens me!
I am the desert of despair!
And the night of agony
Night or day, whate'er befall,
I must walk that desert land,
Until I dare my fear, and call
The lion out to lick my hand!
